Why on earth do I have both the Pro Display XDR and the Studio Display? Well..
When I moved back to San Francisco from New York I didn't want to ship my XDR over or have it sent with the movers. It was too pricey to trust with that kind of shipping and I didn't have the time to figure out a safe way to package and insure it to move. I also wasn't sure if it was going to be a long-term move, so I kept the XDR in storage with family on the East Coast. I used my old 4K Dell display for a while, but eventually got the Studio Display for my home setup.
I opted for the tilt and height adjustable Apple Studio Display with the standard glass . While the display is nowhere near as expansive and impressive as the 32" 6K Pro Display XDR, it's still an impressive 5K display with integrated webcam and speakers.
