According to ArsTechnica, Google will launch a video download service that integrates with Google Video Search that will presumably allow for paid downloads of popular television shows, as iTunes currently offers. Google will also release a bundle of online applications from antivirus software, instant messaging clients to media players in an application suite dubbed Google Pack. It is supposed to be aimed towards new internet users. The only caveat being that Google will use RealPlayer technology to stream video content. Read the whole story over at Ars.
