I just finished up Steve Krug's Don't Make Me Think: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability and it's a great read for anyone interested in tweaking their website to its fullest potential. Krug goes elaborates on the way web users will likely encounter certain elements on a website and what they will do about it. It gave me some good ideas on how to make my sites less cluttered, more appealing, and quickly give the first time user an idea of what the website is about.
