Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge into DUMBO

The day after I visited The High Line, I decided to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and explore DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass). Despite having been to NYC more than a handful of times, I had never ventured here. I had to get that iconic shot of the Manhattan Bridge from Washington Street.

It was a sunny and busy Saturday afternoon on the 1.1-mile long Brooklyn Bridge. There were interesting views to be had all around the bridge and you'd see folks trying to snap a quick shot while trying to avoid oncoming cyclists. I found several opportunities to put my 70-200 lens to use here.
