While in New York one sunny afternoon I visited The High Line with my sister. It's an elevated park in Manhattan traversing 22 city blocks, even going through some buildings such as the Standard Hotel. Part of The High Line was an abandoned railway — construction began in 2006 to transform it into an urban park.
