14L ILE Radius Mini in Forest
A few weeks ago I joined Sesame. It's hard to believe I now work from an office again. It's been almost 5 years that I've primarily been working from home and I really missed being in an office again.
With my new commute to the office I wanted a smaller and lighter backpack. Just something to carry my laptop and not much else. My typical daily backpack is the Aer City Pack and it's not that large to begin with. It just has a lot of compartments and weighs a bit more than I'd like for a simple commuter bag.
I ended up going with the 14L Radius Mini in Forest Green VX21 XPAC material from Inside Line Equipment. They have a shop in Berkeley, CA and I was able to check it out in person. It's astoundingly light. I was sold the moment I lifted it up. There's a single large compartment with an unpadded laptop area and two small zippered pockets.
The laptop sleeve isn't that protective so I ended up getting this Neo Sleeve from WaterField Designs and it fits my 14" MacBook Pro perfectly. Overall really happy with this setup.
My only complaint is that their logo on the bag is huge. It doesn't bother me much anymore but I wish it wasn't there.
