I have the now-discontinued soft-shell varsion of their expandable carry-on suitcase. I've had it for 5 years now. It works well and I've had no issues with it. That being said I'm not exactly in love with it. It gets the job done but I feel the Away brand is a bit too common and not particularly high-end.
Update: Away recently re-launched the soft-shell carry-on. They call it the Softside Carry-on
