New Technorati Feature: Favorites

Feb 21, 2006 in , ,

technorati paulEveryone’s favorite blog tracking, ranking and tag search engine service, Technorati, has just added a new feature to their services list. Favorites lets you create a publicly viewable list of your favorite bloggers, making it incredibly easy to keep track of their content. Each person is allowed to store up to 50 favorites and is given a public URL with this format: http://technorati.com/faves/username. For example, you can look at my favorites with this link.

  1. My wordpress.com account automatically integrates itself into Technorati but I’m not entirely convinced that Technorati does much for my blog.

  2. Are the special icons only for chosen bloggers, or can anyone set them up?

  3. Haha, that part was a joke - I photoshopped that.

  4. Hah, nice Paul! I’m really stoked on the stuff Technorati have been rolling out lately. They’ve got a great service going and it’s only improving. Not sure I’ll use this too much, but I definitely see the value in it.

  5. Can I put the favorites list into my blog sidebar (a la Blogrolling)? That would be much more useful than sending them to Technorati.
