Macworld seems to think that we will see the launch of the first Intel based Apple notebook within a week. If that wasn't enough to get you excited, this notebook may feature a solid-state flash memory cache used to speed up booting by storing vital system files in there. The flash memory used will likely be based on NAND chips utilizing Intel's Robson cache technology displayed last year. No word yet on whether the notebook will be an iBook or PowerBook, but I would assume iBook as the PowerBook had a more recent upgrade.
