I loved my Sony RX1R. It was extremely well-built, small, full-frame, and had a fixed lens. That's similar to the formula Leica has been using with their Q line of rangefinder cameras for years. I've never owned a Q, Q2, or Q3. I've used ones that friends had and always admired their build quality and shooting style.
However, I always found the fixed 28mm lens to be a bit limiting. For context, my Sony 55mm ƒ/1.8 is my favorite lens. So I prefer prime lenses that have a narrower field of view. That was always the reason I never got a Q camera; along with the steep price tag, I'd really have to love the complete package and I never did with a 28mm lens.
Well, Leica released a new version of the Q3 with a 43mm lens. Sounds like a game changer.
