Why I Blog

July 14, 2006

Minic Rivera over at The Blogging Times has a nice feature on his blog where he takes prominent bloggers and asks them why they blog. In the past he has posed this question to people like Craig Newmark of Craiglist. Minic asked me the same question recently, so go check it out.

I especially like your comment about not sulking around the dorms, Paul. I began blogging for almost the exact same reason. It’s amazing how many things you can write about while sitting bored, alone in your dorm room.

Actually Paul I’m going to contradict you a bit. I actually get inspired to blog by talking to hilarious people and then I blog thereafter. Sitting around does very little for me, although sitting next to an animal or pet sometimes helps. (you know scratch their ear and stuff)

The internet is too big and lonely to write on it alone. People and weird conversations inspire me. But whatever works.

  4. Hehe, nice to see some ppl is giving you cred..

Keep on with the good work..
