Hi, Paul!

I'm amazed with Skribit potential! So amazed that I wrote about it in my blog: <a HREF="http://www.gerenciandoblog.com.br/2009/12/skribit-cura-falta-inspiracao.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.gerenciandoblog.com.br/2009/12/skribit-cura-falta-inspiracao.html</A>. It's a Brazilian portuguese tutorial, showing how to use Skribit.

Now, I'm anxiously waiting for a Brazilian Portuguese interface.

Thanks a lot for Skribit!

We're having a problem whereby if you refresh the page, something gets confused with the Skribit plugin and our Adsense ads. If you actually navigate to the page, for example by clicking the 'Home' link it is fine.

[...] 7)Redesign the interface entirely. This site is an old school throwback to the early design philosophies of blogging, and as such, has a number of failures. First off, it doesn’t take full advantage of the screen space available on most machines today. This leads to overly long vertical pages with over-full sidebars as the archives for the site have just simply gotten HUGE. This, so far, has been the biggest stumbling block for me, as I want to create a layout that embraces a multitude of different ideals right now, but most importantly, want it to have my design sensibilities applied to it. I’m a freakin’ artist after all. This too, is in line with the new direction I want to take things.8)Better feedback tools.Due to the cludgey nature of the current site design and other factors that will be addressed in another communication, there’s a disconnect between me the author, and you the reader. I want that gone. To that end, I’ve already made some moves by getting involved in the beta test of a new technology that will allow me to better communicate with you.
[...] Skribit was created by Paul Stamatiou and a small group of programmers in a Startup Weekend. Startup Weekends are where you take the time a startup company usually takes to launch a new product and compress it down in to one weekend. From Paul’s posts on the subject it sounded pretty intense. I urge you to read more about the Startup Weekend and Paul’s involvement in it by clicking here and here. [...]

Ok, I've been thinking about skribit (basically since this original post...i know, I'm a bit late)

Could you modify this for software vendors to say "which feature should be added next?" and a way to make it more transparent for vendors to add to their product? an api maybe? I dunno, it would probably just take 20 minutes to implement some sort of PHP script to tally up these, but I like the direction of socially created software, as well as news.

Paul,
I am sorry to hear about your grandpa, I hope the trip home was safe and the funeral peaceful.

I look forward to the beta opening so I can download Skirbit - if you're behind it I trust it's going to be fun and useful.

This does seems to be an extremely good widget, if it does serve its purpose.

However, can't this be an embedded solution so that your servers do not get overloaded?
