Ubuntu Guide Updated for Breezy Badger

January 18, 2006 · 4 comments

When I had written my Ubuntu for novices how to, one of the resources I recommended was an Ubuntu guide website. However, that website was outdated with info for Ubuntu 5.04. Another website has come along and created a similar guide, in the form of a wiki, for support with Ubuntu Breezy Badger 5.10. It’s full with essential information and how to’s from installing various applications to burning DVDs. It’s a must read for any Ubuntu Linux user or potential user.

PaulStamatiou.com runs on the Thesis Theme for WordPress

How smart is your Theme? How good is your support? Check out ThesisTheme for WordPress.

Thesis is the search engine optimized WordPress theme of choice for serious online publishers. If you’re a blogger who doesn’t understand a lot of PHP, Thesis will give a ton of functionality without having to alter any code. For the advanced, Thesis has incredible customization possibilities via Thesis hooks.

With so many design options, you can use the template over and over and never have it look like the same site. The theme is robust and flexible enough not only to accommodate a site like PaulStamatiou.com, but also to enable the site to run far more efficiently than it ever has before.

Yannick, I’ve been using Linux on and off for about 5 years… but Mac OS X is my primary operating system. However, Ubuntu has dethroned Gentoo as my favorite linux distro.

Oh okay cool. I was using Fedora Core for a while and after having a few problems with it decided to switch to Ubuntu when a friend suggested it to me. I haven’t turned back since. It simply just works!
