As Technorati founder David Sifry explains, the popular blog and tag search engine Technorati turned 3 years old today. Sifry and crew pulled off an amazing redesign which IMO increases usability a ton. I might have to update my previous article now. There are tons of new features so go check it out.
PaulStamatiou.com runs on the Thesis Theme for WordPress
Thesis is the search engine optimized WordPress theme of choice for serious online publishers. If you’re a blogger who doesn’t understand a lot of PHP, Thesis will give a ton of functionality without having to alter any code. For the advanced, Thesis has incredible customization possibilities via Thesis hooks.
With so many design options, you can use the template over and over and never have it look like the same site. The theme is robust and flexible enough not only to accommodate a site like PaulStamatiou.com, but also to enable the site to run far more efficiently than it ever has before.

It gives me the impression of a more non-tech user friendly interface and a bit of a social network touch.
It looks alot like the new Yahoo!
I liked the old one better.
I don’t know if it improves the usability… it seems kind of messy with a lot of unrelated content mashed together, and then there’s the nasty tag cloud, and the text is well, TINY.
The new Look is a lot better than the older one.
