It's interesting to read your recap - I actually have it open side-by-side with our CTO's recap. Being responsible for new initiatives, prototyping, etc., he had a somewhat different perspective. I think his biggest takeaway was that social networking was represented in a huge way; he wasn't there for social networking, but to examine companies with potential digital marketing offerings.

Anyway - Thanks for the post. I need to personally go next year. I also need to ask him if he remembers the Skribit presentation by the guy in the Twitter shirt.

How does FeatureFrame differ from Youtube? How do they expect to keep useless Youtube-like comments ("lol", "shit", etc) away from the site?
I just registered for the beta, as I'm going to European Film College in september, and would like to see the service come to use.

Looking forward to a screencast or beta preview!

Paul - I think the Skribit pitch was spot on. People walked away understanding a) what Skribit is, and b) that it has good momentum with users. The "That's what she twittered" shirt was a nice touch and was nicely distinguishable from the please-fund-me-suits.

Glad you found FeatureFrame interesting. When we launch, maybe it can even meet your need for an HD video hosting service.
