I was using Democracy before the summer but I had to ditch it as its performance was sub par. I guess I’ll see if this new release has improved performance!

I’ve been running Democracy on my Linux machine for the past few months and I’m totally pleased with it. The Democracy team deserves some credit for producing an excellent app and I see myself using it for a long time to come.

Hi, I work at PCF, we make Democracy Player. I just wanted to let everyone know that the version reviewed above will be released on Sept 11 or 12. We are still doing some final testing and bug fixing. If you just can't wait, you can try our release candidate here: Democracy Player testing versions. If you find a bug, let us know. Nice review… they’ve really got it looking real fine for a free software. Definitely good to have alternatives to iTunes.
