There is also another great software called <a href="http://www.winternals.com/Products/AdministratorsPak/Default.aspx">Winternals Administrators Pak</a>, which can be all-in-one and effective solution when Windows crashes. By the way, have you mentioned that the ways to recover/fix Windows is much more in quantity than the ways to make Windows work proper? Looks like it always find a way to crash somehow :) I really love knoppix, and this is a quite interesting article, thank you for sharing it.
