Great overview!
In these days I’m thinking about moving all my mail to Google Apps, but I still have some doubt, especially when moving without internet connection (on the train, just to give an idea). Today I’m using that time to write mail and reply to messages, but if I move everything to Google Apps I should be always-on to do that…
I like Gmail, but this is blocking me ;)

Hi Paul. I just wanted to give you an little advice about Flickr stability for your photos, because you delete every photo you upload, as you said up here. A flickr user I know suddenly got his photos deleted because of an “irrecoverable” server error at Flickr. Because of this I wouldn’t do what you do, specially if you have some important family photos and so on.

I was an avid user of QuickSilver on any Mac I was using until I read this post. I re-enabled the Spotlight shortcut and it does EXACTLY the same thing as QS did (I used it mainly as a launcher) but quicker and doesn’t have to load at startup which always took a bit long for me. GREAT tip! I uninstalled it right away.
