Preloadr, the Ultimate Flickr Companion

July 13, 2006 · 8 comments

After a hot tip from one of its developers, I discovered Preloadr. Preloadr fully utilizes the Flickr API to bring you unparalleled photo manipulation capabilities. The coolest part is that you don’t even have to make an account, just login to flickr and it does the rest. It automatically loads up the photos in your photoset and give you the ability to do everything from crop them to adjusting graduation, adding layers and text! When you’re done editing an image, Preloadr uploads the photo to Flickr in place of the original. This tool is great for fixing up the crappy cameraphone pics we all take.

PaulStamatiou.com runs on the Thesis Theme for WordPress

How smart is your Theme? How good is your support? Check out ThesisTheme for WordPress.

Thesis is the search engine optimized WordPress theme of choice for serious online publishers. If you’re a blogger who doesn’t understand a lot of PHP, Thesis will give a ton of functionality without having to alter any code. For the advanced, Thesis has incredible customization possibilities via Thesis hooks.

With so many design options, you can use the template over and over and never have it look like the same site. The theme is robust and flexible enough not only to accommodate a site like PaulStamatiou.com, but also to enable the site to run far more efficiently than it ever has before.

I’m always amazed at your finds. I love the comment thingy from earlier too. And if I haven’t said it, I love the cleanliness of your new look too. Pretty darn classy.

Cheers Paul. How long until we get something akin to Photoshop on the web?
