@Marvin, Time Capsule picks photos that are the most ‘interesting’, not the most artistic. We do our selection based on the number of views, faves, and comments each of your pics has.

It’s an interesting idea, but I don’t care much for the actual implementation. If this were based on some sort of widget (connected to Facebook, my own blog, or maybe even an RSS feed), then I might be more into it. The problem is that a lot of people have started to see email almost like a “to-do” list. (Not everyone, but a lot.) I imagine these people probably don’t want another thing added to their list.

Like I said, this idea has some great potential, but I think they need to offer more methods of delivery than just email. *Then* I might put it into use!

It seems like a neat idea for someone like yourself with 10,000 or so photos, but I have absolutely no use for it. And just curious, but what classifies a picture as good? Not thinks a good photo is a perfectly framed on, and others may prefer the sentimental aspect of their photos.

And how do they go about doing this? Does someone go through your pictures and hand pick them for you or something?
