Hi Paul,
I have also been contacted by Yahoo! for a trademark internship interview next week over the phone. Do you know any current intern(s) from that deparment? If you do, would you mind to pass my contact information to that person?
I would love to hear more about the internship from a person who is already having the experience, specially for interview tips and all,
thanks and I hope you are enjoying your experience,
Hudi

[...] A few days back (three to be exact), Paul Stamatiou blogged about how he landed a gig with Yahoo as a Blogging Intern. It might not be a full-blown job offer like the one Steve Rubel received in February, but there’s little doubt that you’re talking about a great experience and networking opportunities in a firm highly related with what he’ll probably want to be involved in when he graduates.
Congrats Paul!

Sounds like a lot of fun and opportunities! I'd sure just like to go to the states some day... but for now I'll just stay in Denmark :)

As for recommendations, it's pretty hard since I've never been to the states, but I'd sure like to go and see Venice Beach if I ever get the chance…

Oh yeah, Sunnyvale is where Epyx is from!!!!

I don't even think you were born yet when Epyx was hitting the scene with classic games for the Commodore 64 like Jumpman, Jumpman Jr., Impossible Mission, Summer Games (and others), and many, many more.

Hey, way to go! It turns out that blogs are actually a really good way to attract internship/job offers. If you make something good, people will notice! Good luck this summer! Have fun.

My only advice for the SF area would be to eat at an "In 'N Out". I didn't believe it until I finally tried it for myself, but it's the only fast food that I would consider truly "good". Tasty.

Paul, congrats!!! I used to live in Sunnyvale a few years back when I worked for Netscape (before AOL), I was a college recruiter. It's a nice place and the people are fairly friendly. I would definatley check out the places that Matt suggested and I'm sure your new co-workers will have a bunch of suggestions as well. Interns are treated like royalty in the Valley so make the most of it and definatley network as much as you can. If you need any information about the area, drop me a line, I'd be more than happy to assist. BTW: I'm still in the area if you need a tour guide.
