As hinted at earlier, it has been confirmed that we will see a second generation iPod Nano at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference this August. In addition to a metal housing, the Nano is expected to come in more colors than just white and black. It seems that Apple is going the way of the successful iPod Mini. The new Nanos could also sport a higher-end model featuring 6 or 8GB of solid-state flash memory. Hopefully, Apple doesn’t have to change the form factor too much to fit in all those RAM chips.

Is Apple going to unveil new iPod and music-related developments at WWDC? I thought they now shy away from such announcements at WWDC as there was some criticism that the conference should remain a Mac-oriented event.
AppleInsider – Analyst sees WWDC as Mac only event
Wouldn’t surprise me since we haven’t seen a rev of the Nano since its debut.
Good call on the purchase of pstam.com , saved me many times from googling on my work breaks to check your blog.
Normally I would just google “flock review” but pstam.com is much easier.
I’m planning to buy several nanos for my father, mother, sister etc… Looks like I should wait for another few weeks….
