In The Pipeline

November 3, 2007 · 13 comments

Just a 411 – this weekend, the upcoming week and next weekend will be rather hectic for me as I write my term paper on RFID tag privacy, prepare a presentation on it, code a prototype for a redesign of a student portal for HCI class, complete other computer science homework and if I’m still alive, participate in Startup Weekend Atlanta.

However, I have been tinkering around with Eye-Fi’s Wireless SD card for an upcoming review and let me say, the thing is bloody brilliant. I ended up buying the review sample from my supplier. Ignore the other reviews you’ve read and wait for mine. Oh and I plan on putting down my thoughts about Leopard soon.

Until next time, here’s a picture of my serene surroundings.

That Wireless SD card sounds cool, but I don’t really think I take enough pictures for it to become useful for me. I can’t wait for the review, though. Good luck with your work.

Let me know if you want to talk about your paper. Can’t go wrong with IEEE and ACM.

Thanks Brian.. nice to see a comment coming from library.gatech.edu. Several of my sources turned out to be from the ACM’s journal. Maybe I’ll give you a ping when I finish it up for a proof read.

I was surprised to see DPReview post a Eye-Fi Review so quickly as well.

Why the 6th floor?…. because the tech books are there??… don’t you find the East Commons more inspiring? But sure, drop me your paper if you’d like.

two more exams to go for me… but because of the different school system (to the USA), and the fact that I’m taking off for the year, means that after Friday I don’t have to do any study till 2009. :D

Good luck with the term paper- that blog post you wrote about the RFIDs a little while ago was really well written and easy to understand.

Thanks for the photo, Paul. Brings back some memories. I spent many, many hours in the GT library.
