Firefox 3 final release now out, download day looking good even after the bump on the road in its first hours. Have you guys updated? Thoughts? I don't see much change between the release candidates and the final release, but then again I think it's normal.

Firefox 3? mmmm I dunno actually. i'm running the last build bu I have to say that Safari 4 is pretty good and lighter at the start.
I believe i'm honestly not geek enough to know which one is better cause in terms of performance, speed and stability they both look the same.

i'm looking forward to read details about their engine to make a decision :)

My main problem with Safari is when I have 30 or more tabs open I have to hit the arrow to see a tab that is off the screen, but it still displays the first 20 tabs or whatever. I wish there was an arrow in Safari like Firefox so you could actually scroll through the tabs. Does anyone know of a workaround in Safari? And Know I really don't want to open more windows.

Thanks,

The reason I switched from MacBook to PRO was to get multi-touch.

Without realizing it, I have been using my iPhone gestures on the MacBook touch pad for months, of course they don't work there.

Clearly my brain has made the switch, good to here my machine will get in line.

Thanks Paul, I just picked up my new Macbook Pro last week, and I was sad to see that this function didn't work by default!

I will defiantly be using this with Firefox 3 RC2!

Firefox might not have better text rendering than Safari, but it's definitely getting better.
