You should take a look at my OS X compatible program iConvert:
http://www.eisbox.net/iconvert/

It dtrastically simplifies the process of creating OS X icons, even from vector files - all you would need to do would be to save your EPS file as an SVG, then convert it using iConvert - the rest will fall into place! Let me know what you think...

		<description>I just use Pic2Icon.  Drag the image you want into it and it turns the icon in that photo&#039;s Get Info into one you can copy and then paste as your application&#039;s Get Info icon.</description>

		<description>I suck at Photoshop. I wouldn&#039;t want to even attempt designing my own vector image and making it an icon. I&#039;ll stick with interfacelift and get others to do the work for me.</description>
