I just had to buy a new laptop because this so-called anti-ware program took my laptop so far into the beyond that a "safe start" from the F8 function key at startup wasn't possible. Using those software computers can be scanned for spyware or any files that could be possibly one (some may just be hiding there until a great opportunity for them to come out on stage). Rolling through one of the comments posted out by Logan Lindquist I met Hitman Pro. I’ve played the game Hitman and that software actually deserves this name, it’s just a spyware assassin ready to shoot at any instance of spyware detected. I think AdAware is greatly overrated, and it's sad to say, but the MS Antispyware tool is the best one out there, although it makes sense, it's their OS, so they better do their best to make a good tool to clean it up. Spyware Doctor actually finds a great deal of what the others miss, and can run a full system scan in considerably less time than any others. SpySweeper is worth honorable mention as well. It sucks that you now have to pay for it to remove anything, but I still have a copy of the free version's installer :-) I always tell my customers, that if they never want to have to call me again, get a Mac.
