I spend 12 hours a day on my laptop and around 60 hours total per week and I am only 12. Is that a litle too much for me? at my age

Is there a freeware to keep track of how much time I spend daily on the computer? I’d love if the program also displays the breakup of usage by each application!

when i wake up at around 6 or 7am im on for about 2 -3 hours (on the weekends) then at night from around 9-2 or 3. lol. so about 8 to 9 hours. :D

okkaayy so i thought alot about this i mean how bad can it be???

how wrong was i!!!!
on weekdays i spend up to 9 hours on the computer with about 7 hours at home and 2 in school.

however on weekends i can spend up to 10 hours straight on the computer.

i somehow still manage to keep social contact with all my mates

how i do it i do not know

I’m on the computer for probably close to 11-12 hours. I never stay on the computer for more than 2-3 hours at a time. After a 3 hour computer session I usually get up and walk, or work out, which seems to help my energy levels.

I remember in middle/high school I used to game all day long without getting up (not healthy!)

Every now and then get up and stretch/walk/jog/exercise!

Hi!
I have a DSL connection.Thats why my pc is always online but it doesn’t mean that I’m always there!
I’m not turning my pc already for one and a half month.
I’m havin’ 1 problem ,i cannot get myself leave my pc.
Even while studying!I’m always thinking who is now online , is htere any mail in my inbox ?bla bla bla bla bla……
it is about 9 nours i’m spending clearly with pc but additional in between doing my HW i mean looking in the dictionary , solving the problems……. and all that i’m doin’ online.
Total 15 hours a day i spend for online!
Do u think it is cool? or Unhealty?
PLz somebody support me or advice me somethin’!!!!!!!!!

I read an interesting post my another famous blogger once, who shall remain nameless. The post was about the idea of restricting one’s available working hours every day and jamming more work into that time, therefor increasing productivity. I do the opposite. I can spend hours and hours online, if I’m not careful, arriving at the end of the day with big fat nothing done. Fun and games.

Well… let me see… on weekends I easily spend 12 hours online, however on school days it’s usually around 6 hours or so if I’m lucky.

I would guess I might be on the low end of the spectrum with 4-5 hours per day. I work all day in the world of computers, but most of them are spent offline fiddling with servers and routers and all the bits and bobs that go with them. Outside of work, and hour or two in the morning before the kids get up (if I’m not at the gym), and an hour or two in the evening.

I used to do the whole staying up till 4am and being to work by 8am thing. Somewhere along the line I got old.

I would say 5-6 hours per day but only in weekdays… (not weekends)…
at least im trying to be less (or more) time..
