I dont have a computer at home, so dont have access over the weekends, so this is a nice way to keep an eye on friends and family, would like access to other applications tho, like scrabble and poker.

facebook mobile is a silly idea. who browses web sites from their phone???? not me.

i like the groovr site.. thanks for the reference. being able to tie into a specific place is a really neat idea!!! if this gets a bunch of users it will be much more useful than facebook

I think all that's new is the fact they added 'My Mobile' and threw a little note at the top of the home page for us to hide. As mentioned, I've been uploading and stuff for quite a while from m.facebook.com.

I for one enjoy the mobile version. It's actually much easier. I can, in one screen, seen new messages, wall posts, pokes, etc. Great to kill some time with. Also great because it has a page dedicated to 'contacts'. It lists all your friends and if they've listed their phone number/email address.

Will I access Facebook on my mobile? Probably not. It's not a critical service anyway so I seriously wonder why do they even launched this.

Yeah, the basic page was around.. but today (if you click the Facebook link) they released a whole suite of mobile related things: mobile image uploading, mobile texts and a mobile page in facebook.
