Disco Public Beta on Sale

October 30, 2006 · 9 comments

If you hurry up you can purchase the Disco public beta from MacZot for $14.95. Disco is a small and powerful CD/DVD burning application with a very unique twist – amazing design and it actually burns your discs. You’ll see what that means after checking out the Disco blog.

Or it does burn if you have a supported graphics card. If you are on Power PC forget it, and even the Macbooks refuse to play nice.

That said, it is a more than adequate replacement for Toast, and the design is buttock-clinchingly exciting!

In response to Adam:

The program works fine on my MacBook, I believe it’s the smoke feature you’re talking about.

what is the smoke feature? just some random graphics effect? I couldn’t get any details from the disco site. They need a “features” page!

have you tried looking at the homepage http://discoapp.com? Anyways, when you burn a disc, smoke comes from the app. It’s pretty neat.
