Concise yet very informative! Way to go pal!

By the way, about photos at flicker; I was planning to post in a collection of gravatars at flicker but I’m not sure if those gravatars would be safe in there? Any idea on the safety of my photos or images at flicker?

[...] Well, think again. Paul Stamatiou, a student at Georgia Tech as well as a popular blogger, explained last February in an exchange with one of his readers, Michael, that he did use Flickr to get a feel about the institutions he was considering: “When I was accepted into Georgia Tech, I wasn’t able to visit until the summer. I had gotten into a blind agreement, but then I just hit up flickr and was thoroughly impressed with the photos I found so I wasn’t shocked or anything when I finally got a chance to visit. I also did the same thing with the other 9 or 10 colleges (yeah, I applied to a lot of schools) I was accepted into.” [...]

Glad to have commented.

Another thing about college+flickr is that University Students are more likely to post and tag photos on flickr than say...older folks. Using flickr like this is cool because you see the college campus without bias and really get a sense for what the campus is like. Plus, it's a great way to find out about the people who attend the college, which I find important.

Look at what my class is going to look like next year.

Actually Michael I knew about that, =D. When I was accepted into Georgia Tech, I wasn't able to visit until the summer. Thanks for the comment anyways, means a lot. :-P

I like it everytime you write these cool little guide articles. You don't know how much I appreciate an original idea. For instance, did you know that Flickr is an excellent way to research colleges?
