Thanks Mac Guide!

Feb 08, 2006 in , , ,

The chaps over at the New Zealand Mac Guide magazine mentioned an article of mine in a recent issue. 10 things every new mac owner should know was featured on page 19 of Mac Guide Issue 19. If you live in New Zealand, try to find a book store (I would throw out a name like Barnes & Noble or Borders, but I’m not sure if those exist down under) and pick it up. It’s a great publication that’s just starting out and has already proven its worth with some fantastic content. Thanks to Craig Hunter for letting me know about this!

  1. Congratulations on the magazine feature, Paul! Keep the great articles flowing.

  2. Nice! It is a good article.

I don’t even own a mac and I was showing it to a friend who was over here the other day.
He just purchased his first ibook last weekend.

  7. Hi from New Zealand and thanks for all your good posts over at 123macmini.com and for the really useful info on your site. NZ Mac Guide is avaiable at usual NZ book stores [Whitcoulls, Borders, Paper Plus etc] and larger supermarkets. May also be available in Australia. Cheers.

  8. I write for this magazine, I started the issue after this one :)

    Rock on!

  9. Macguide has now been closed, unfortunately – strong readership, NZ Mac sales doubled in three eyars, but the advertsiers stopped advertising. Weird. Shame – Hey, it was a pleasure to support Paul’s site in a little way.

  10. Ah, that’s a shame. I bought an issue to read on the plane earlier in the year. Wasn’t really anything in there that I hadn’t read online in terms of mac news etc, but sometimes it’s just nice to have a paper copy and something written from a NZ perspective. Sorry to hear the advertisers didn’t agree.
