Google Music Search

Jan 15, 2006 in , ,

It seems as though Google has silently launched it’s Music Search. Right now it is a no frills almost blank Google page. When you search for things you will find several categories of results: by Artist, by Song and by Album. It looks like Google has some work ahead of itself for Music Search. It’s not terribly accurate and doesn’t have any idea of smaller bands. Go ahead and try it for yourself.

  1. Also, if you search for, for example, an author’s name, in normal Google, it comes up with a music thing linked to work by that album on the Google music search.

  2. Have a look at Pandora it does what what Google music search really should do.  Stick an artist in that you like, and it streams similar music to you… how cool is that?

Technically I shouldn’t be using it in the UK, but no one has stopped me yet! :D

  3. I understand… due to fact fact it is just so surreal, i just couldn’t resist making that comment. So i guess in a strange surreal way my comment should be considered a compliment
